Naturally, as the <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/tv\/what-is-the-chroma-conclave-in-the-legend-of-vox-machina\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chroma Conclave<\/a> are still rampant and sowing chaos across Exandria, someone, anyone with a brave enough heart, will need to stop them before the world and its order crumble to ruins.<\/p>\n<p>But with <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/tv\/amazons-new-deal-with-critical-role-indicates-that-a-vox-machina-extended-universe-might-be-in-our-future\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the revelation that <em>The Mighty Nein<\/em> series<\/a>, based on <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/tag\/critical-role\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Critical Role<\/a>\u2019s second <em><a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/tag\/dungeons-and-dragons\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dungeons &amp; Dragons<\/a><\/em> campaign, is also in the works, fans are uncertain as to when we\u2019ll be seeing both season 3 of <em>The Legend of Vox Machina<\/em> and season 1 of <em>The Mighty Nein<\/em>, and which one might come first.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what we know so far about the upcoming season of the Prime Video show.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-cast-characters-and-where-we-left-off\">Cast, characters, and where we left off<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Design-sem-nome-2023-12-16T143930.799.png\" alt=\"Vox Machina at a campfire and dragon flying over the city\" class=\"wp-image-1639651\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Design-sem-nome-2023-12-16T143930.799.png 1200w, https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Design-sem-nome-2023-12-16T143930.799.png?resize=564,317 564w, https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Design-sem-nome-2023-12-16T143930.799.png?resize=640,360 640w, https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Design-sem-nome-2023-12-16T143930.799.png?resize=150,84 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Screengrabs via Prime Video<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It goes without saying, but you can expect the usual suspects to make a return. The voice actors who partook in the actual campaign as PCs will return to give life to each member of Vox Machina:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Laura Bailey<\/strong> as Vex&#8217;ahlia &#8220;Vex&#8221; Vessar<\/li>\n<li><strong>Liam O&#8217;Brien<\/strong> as Vax&#8217;ildan &#8220;Vax&#8221; Vessar<\/li>\n<li><strong>Taliesin Jaffe<\/strong> as Percival &#8220;Percy&#8221; Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marisha Ray<\/strong> as Keyleth \u201cKiki\u201d of the Air Ashari<\/li>\n<li><strong>Travis Willingham<\/strong> as Grog Strongjaw<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sam Riegel<\/strong> as Scanlan Shorthalt<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ashley Johnson<\/strong> as Pike Trickfoot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And of course, <strong>Matthew Mercer<\/strong>, the Dungeon Master of the live-streamed campaign, plays some of the characters he did back when it aired \u2013 like the villainous Sylas Briarwood or Trinket, Vex\u2019s bear \u2013 whilst others are filled in by other fellow voice actors.<\/p>\n<p>Other recurring characters the respective voice actors that we might expect to return include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Indira Varma<\/strong> as Lady Allura Vysoren&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stephanie Beatriz<\/strong> as Lady Kima of Vord<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sunil Malhotra<\/strong> as Shaun Gilmore<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kelly Hu <\/strong>as Dr. Anna Ripley<\/li>\n<li><strong>Esm\u00e9 Creed-Miles <\/strong>as Cassandra de Rolo&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Lance Reddick <\/strong>as Thordak<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cree Summer <\/strong>as Raishan&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aisling Franciosi <\/strong>as Kaylie&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mary Elizabeth McGlynn <\/strong>as Zahra<\/li>\n<li><strong>Will Friedle <\/strong>as Kashaw<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the end of season 2, Vox Machina\u2019s victory dinner in Whitestone to celebrate Umbrasyl\u2019s defeat is crashed by an intruder disguised as Keeper Yennen: Raishan, the Diseased Deceiver. The green dragon tells the group, after drugging everyone else at the table, that they are trying to take down Thordak from the inside, and requests \u2013 more like demands \u2013 the party\u2019s help in achieving that. Seemingly their goals align on that front, but who\u2019s to say what Raishan\u2019s aim truly is? So far, we still haven\u2019t got a trailer for the third season but, judging by this pattern, it should be arriving sometime soon. Making some more additional math, season 3 may come in the first quarter of 2024, most likely in February, or at most March.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/criticalrole\/comments\/186h71a\/comment\/kb8a5j9\/?utm_source=reddit&amp;utm_medium=web2x&amp;context=3\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fan on Reddit<\/a>, made their own speculations in regards to the remainder of the Vox Machina series as well as the start of Mighty Nein:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>I wonder if theyll alternate the series as long as LoVM still runs, so 2024 LoVM S3, 2025 M9 S1, 2026 LoVM S4 so on and so forth.<\/p>\n<p>I kind of feel like if they are going to do M9 after LoVM that they announced it a bit early. Wouldve been better to announce it the year before the final season of LoVM comes out imo. Announcing too far out will cause some people to fall off.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Indeed, announcing the Mighty Nein so soon, if it is only coming after Vox Machina, might make the hype disappear but I doubt <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/gaming\/critical-role-shares-official-statement-regarding-wizards-of-the-coast\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Critical Role<\/a> would allow for that to happen, as they are very in tune with this kind of entrepreneurial moves. Either way, Vox Machina will surely return first, but avid Critical Role fans can still hope to see the not-nine misfits of campaign 2 not too far off into the
