LOGAN\u2014The Utah State University men\u2019s basketball team (14-1, 2-0 MW) beat the #13 Colorado State Rams (13-2, 1-1 MW) Saturday night, 77-72.\u00a0<\/span> \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou guys have seen it,\u201d Danny Sprinkle said in a postgame interview. \u201cWhen they get the crowd going, people can say what they want. It\u2019s worth more than three points.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Great Osobor led the Aggies with 20 points, and Isaiah Stevens led the Rams with 21 points.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aggie fans wore gloves to the game to make their claps louder.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The game started with Darius Brown II scoring a 3-pointer. Five minutes into the first half, the Rams led the Aggies 10-7.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Osobor made the first free throws of the game at 13:58.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Aggies struggled during the first half to score. With 10 minutes left in the first half, they had a scoring drought of three minutes.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sprinkle called a timeout, and this seemed to push the Aggies as they scored four points out of the huddle. These points had put them 1 for 10 on field goal shots.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With 3:47 left in the half, the Aggies trailed the Rams 21-27. The Rams had 8 fouls to the Aggies\u2019 4.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Javon Jackson shot the first bonus free throws for the Aggies with 26 seconds left in the half.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The half ended with the Rams leading the Aggies 32-28. The Aggies struggled in the first half to make a shot, with a field goal percentage of 28.1% compared to the Rams\u2019 40%.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The second half started with a dunk from Osobor. Shortly after the second half started, Aggies improved their FG% by 6.1%.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aggies led the Rams for the first time in the second half with 15:26 left at a scoreline of 42-41.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The second half showed a different game with both teams fighting to stay on top.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aggie Mason Falslev made a layup through traffic to tie up the score 55-55.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Isaac Johnson hit a three with five minutes left, then stole the ball on the other end to return possession to the Aggies.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A few plays later, Osobor blocked a Ram.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ram Patrick Cartier fouled out with 1:56 left on the clock, putting the fans into a frenzy.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aggies called a timeout after CSU put a full-court press on them with 1:42 left in the game. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then Ram Nique Clifford fouled out with 1:14 left in the game, and the stadium erupted.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With one minute remaining, the Rams were left to just foul the Aggies, who were in the double bonus.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Aggies closed out the game with a score of 77-72.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a postgame interview, Josh Uduje spoke on how the fans turned the tide of the game.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSpectrum magic is real,\u201d he said. \u201cWe had two guys foul out. Just hearing them chant \u2018Left, right, left, right\u2019 is crazy, you know? I think that really is what kickstarted our run.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"\"<\/p>\n

Osobor also spoke on the power of the HURD on the team.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOK, there\u2019s three things certain in life: death, taxes and the HURD,\u201d he said, \u201cand they were big time for us tonight.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Danny Sprinkle praised the crowd and how crucial they were to win this game.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe just had to keep pushing and pushing and get to the last five minutes, and then just let the crowd take over,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aggies play the Wyoming Cowboys on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Spectrum.\u00a0<\/span> <\/p>\n
