Dentro de la competici\u00f3n automovil\u00edstica, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) ha participado hasta ahora en el Campeonato Mundial de Rallys (WRC) \u2014World Rally Championship (WRC)\u2014 de la FIA con el GR Yaris Rally, en el Campeonato Mundial de Resistencia \u2014World Endurance Championship (WEC)\u2014 de la FIA con el GR010 y en el Campeonato Mundial de Rally-Raid \u2014World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC)\u2014 de la FIA con el DKR Hilux EVO T1U, y adem\u00e1s ha desarrollado el GR Supra GT4 para promover la creaci\u00f3n de \u2018veh\u00edculos cada vez mejores\u2019 mediante las actividades automovil\u00edsticas para clientes. Por ello, el GR Yaris Rally2 ha sido desarrollado para las competiciones de rallyes para clientes.<\/p>\n

El presidente Akio Toyoda, tambi\u00e9n conocido como \u2018Morizo\u2019, espera que este modelo suponga el primer paso para tender un puente entre los veh\u00edculos de competici\u00f3n y de producci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la competici\u00f3n de rally, algo que podr\u00eda contribuir a potenciar el mercado del rally en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n

Distribuci\u00f3n del GR Yaris Rally2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tras la obtenci\u00f3n del certificado de homologaci\u00f3n, ya puede comenzar la distribuci\u00f3n del GR Yaris Rally2 a los clientes de todo el mundo. Est\u00e1 previsto que el primer modelo conmemorativo se entregue a ROOKIE Racing, dirigido por Morizo, y ya hay otros cuatro equipos inscritos en el Rally de Montecarlo, que se disputar\u00e1 del 25 al 28 de enero, con el GR Yaris Rally2.<\/p>\n

El GR Yaris, el primer veh\u00edculo con tracci\u00f3n total desarrollado exclusivamente por Toyota en 20 a\u00f1os fue creado por TGR con vistas a la victoria en el WRC. M\u00e1s que un modelo pensado para que gane TGR, el GR Yaris Rally2 ha sido fabricado para que ganen los clientes.<\/p>\n

El coche se dio a conocer en el Rally de Jap\u00f3n en 2022, cuando \u2018Morizo\u2019 se sent\u00f3 al volante y calibr\u00f3 su rendimiento. Desde entonces, se han recabado muchas impresiones de distintos pilotos que han probado el modelo GR Yaris Rally2 en diferentes superficies y en condiciones diversas.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, se han recorrido m\u00e1s de 15.000 kil\u00f3metros en competici\u00f3n, incluida la participaci\u00f3n en el Campeonato japon\u00e9s de Rally, que tambi\u00e9n sirvi\u00f3 como banco de pruebas en carreteras japonesas.<\/p>\n

El proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n y desarrollo de este modelo ha incorporado las aportaciones de pilotos profesionales de m\u00e1ximo nivel, j\u00f3venes pilotos n\u00f3veles y clientes experimentados.
