Toyota has announced the updates to the 2024 Highlander, with the biggest update being the addition of the Highlander Hybrid Nightshade edition.<\/p>\n

\"2024<\/a><\/figure>\n

Just like other Nightshade editions in Toyota’s lineup, it blacks out many of the design details, like the wheels, grille, mirror caps and badging. Inside the Nightshade adds black cloth seats on the LE and black Softex-trimed seats with silver accents on the XLE trim level. The Nightshade edition is available on the Highlander Hybrid LE and XLE trims.<\/p>\n

The only other big update is that a hands-free power liftgate is now standard on the XLE and XSE trim levels.<\/p>\n

Just like last year, the 2024 Highlander is available with two powertrains. Either a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 265 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, or a 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain with 243 hp that gets a 36 mpg combined rating.<\/p>\n

The pricing for the 2024 Toyota Highlander starts at $40,515, including destination. The Highlander Hybrid starts at $42,115. The Highlander Hybrid LE Nightshade starts at $43,115.<\/p>\n
