But a newly revealed synopsis by Marvel Studios does establish the fear that the Merc with a Mouth is destined to give <em>The Marvels <\/em>a run for its money \u2014 which is not at all as nice as it sounds.<\/p>\n<p>Unless you are one of the rare Marvel folks who outright fell in love with <em>The Marvels <\/em>the moment it set its foot on Disney Plus, you are like me \u2014 aware that it was nothing but a filler film only there to usher in the X-Men reality.<\/p>\n<p>Now, we all knew that <em>Deadpool 3 <\/em>will connect to that alternate reality where Monica Rambeau is stuck in. As the MCU smartly set down the foundation of the X-Men residing in a completely different universe, seemingly dumping the need to figure out how the mutants existed (especially someone like Deadpool) in the original timeline but were never heard of, Wade Wilson\u2019s proper foray into the core Marvel franchise was expected to establish a metaphorical bridge of sorts to make it possible for the X-Men to join to main Earth when the need arises.<\/p>\n<p>But as stated above, Marvel Studios\u2019 synopsis for the film in Japan has me sprouting more grey hair and biting what is left of my misshapen nails.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Marvel Studios Japan has shared a new synopsis for \u2018DEADPOOL 3\u2019:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat fucking irresponsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!?\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HRCsHSSmrJ\">pic.twitter.com\/HRCsHSSmrJ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Deadpool Updates (@DeadpoolUpdate) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DeadpoolUpdate\/status\/1751659273493328137?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 28, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>While \u201cf******* irresponsible hero Deadpool\u201d had me giddy with relief that our foul-mouthed chaotic anti-hero won\u2019t be shedding his personality any time soon, the words that he \u201cwill change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!?\u201d left me reeling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Change<\/em>\u201d the history of the MCU? \u201cWith Wolverine?\u201d Is this hinting at Deadpool tinkering with the OG MCU timeline and somehow stuffing in all the selected X-Men into it just because the studio has shown a shocking inability to carry a whole wide multiverse where different stories take place in a variety of realities?<\/p>\n<p>Because if this is going to be the ultimate plot <em>Deadpool 3 <\/em>plans to roll out, it will be repeating <em>The Marvels<\/em>\u2019 purpose and be even more disappointing in the process \u2014 be a filler film that does nothing to augment Pool\u2019s story and was only created to somehow slot the needed X-Men in Earth-616.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/The-Marvels-Trailer-Brie-Larson-Carol-Danvers_3-1.png\" alt=\"Brie Larson as Captain Marvel in 'The Marvels'\" class=\"wp-image-1546094\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/The-Marvels-Trailer-Brie-Larson-Carol-Danvers_3-1.png 1200w, https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/The-Marvels-Trailer-Brie-Larson-Carol-Danvers_3-1.png?resize=564,317 564w, https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/The-Marvels-Trailer-Brie-Larson-Carol-Danvers_3-1.png?resize=640,360 640w, https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/The-Marvels-Trailer-Brie-Larson-Carol-Danvers_3-1.png?resize=150,84 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Screenshot via Marvel Studios<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Aren\u2019t we already making peace with the fact that the film will be teeming with <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/movies\/who-is-dogpool-your-new-favorite-deadpool-3-character-explained\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deadpool variants<\/a>, the TVA hounding the OG Wade Wilson, Jennifer Garner back as Elektra, Channing Tatum\u2019s cameo as Gambit, the near-constant promises of <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/movies\/who-is-dazzler-taylor-swifts-rumored-deadpool-3-character-explained\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Taylor Swift\u2019s presence<\/a>, more X-Men, the presence of an <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/movies\/hugh-jackman-getting-wolverine-jacked-is-now-a-necessity-as-a-new-but-not-so-new-deadpool-3-character-is-discovered\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unexpected hybrid Omega Red<\/a>, hints of Illuminati being present, Ben Affleck\u2019s Daredevil, Wanda of 838, the debut of <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/movies\/moving-from-pg-13-iron-man-to-r-rated-deadpool-3-marvel-is-cloning-the-cringiest-mistake-of-its-first-disappointing-film\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Echo <\/em>endangering <em>Deadpool 3<\/em>\u2019s future<\/a>\u2026 and so much more that is rumored\/witnessed\/leaked about the film? The chances of so much going on in the film going marvelously amazing or horribly wrong were already enough to give us heart palpitations\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026but getting Deadpool after more than five long here only for him to be used to slot the X-Men into the core MCU timeline? Marvel hasn\u2019t exactly been showering us with good things lately and if the studio is taking something priceless like Pool to tarnish him with its ill-fated plans \u2014 I think I speak for the
