Volkswagen inici\u00f3 el a\u00f1o del aniversario del Golf de una forma muy deportiva y espectacular en la Ice Race de Zell am See (Austria). El nuevo Golf, que este a\u00f1o se lanzar\u00e1 a tiempo para su 50 aniversario, tuvo su presentaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica en el tradicional evento de automovilismo sobre hielo y nieve.<\/p>\n

Volkswagen tambi\u00e9n dio una primera impresi\u00f3n de su modelo m\u00e1s deportivo: el Golf R1: camuflado, con tracci\u00f3n total y inconfundiblemente R. El futuro modelo insignia del Golf celebrar\u00e1 su estreno mundial a mediados de 2024.<\/p>\n

La tradicional Ice Race fue el lugar ideal para celebrar el pasado, presente y futuro de las variantes deportivas del Golf.<\/p>\n

Espectacular, un poco salvaje, pero totalmente realista, la pista sobre hielo y nieve se convirti\u00f3 en el gran escenario. La leyenda de las carreras Hans-Joachim Stuck y el seis veces campe\u00f3n del mundo de Rallycross Johan Kristoffersson mostraron varios veh\u00edculos Volkswagen con verdadero estilo conduciendo al l\u00edmite.<\/p>\n

Entre los coches se encontraban el Golf I GTI, que celebr\u00f3 su estreno en 1975, y el Golf IV R32 de 2002, el precursor de todas las variantes de alto rendimiento que llevan el logotipo de la marca R. Volkswagen tambi\u00e9n present\u00f3 otros veh\u00edculos hist\u00f3ricos en la exposici\u00f3n: una versi\u00f3n de rally del Golf I GTI y dos versiones de rally del Golf II.<\/p>\n

Nuevo Golf en acci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n

El nuevo Golf estuvo expuesto en Zell am See en cuatro variantes, no s\u00f3lo como exposici\u00f3n, sino tambi\u00e9n en acci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s del Golf R, el Golf GTI, Golf eHybrid\u00a0y Golf GTE\u00a0completan la gama.<\/p>\n

Hans-Joachim Stuck dice: \u201cLa carrera sobre hielo es un verdadero espect\u00e1culo. Otros conductores se pondr\u00edan cadenas para la nieve en estas condiciones, pero para nosotros, los pilotos de carreras, aqu\u00ed es cuando realmente comienza la diversi\u00f3n\u201d.
