If you\u2019re Marjorie Taylor Greene, you blame immigrants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On January 28, the Georgian congresswoman went ahead and hit the \u201cpost\u201d button on Twitter after penning a tribute to three American soldiers killed in Jordan over the weekend. The message, accompanied by a screencap of the Trojan Horse from <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/movies\/a-box-office-conquering-historical-epic-made-even-better-after-the-fact-brings-blood-dust-and-death-to-streaming\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2004\u2019s <em>Troy<\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em>did that thing that Greene\u2019s arguments do sometimes, starting normal and human before drifting lazily into the whitewater rapids of racist pants-wetting.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-marjorie-taylor-greene-says-the-stupid-part-out-loud\">Marjorie Taylor Greene says the stupid part out loud<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cAmerica must recognize that the Biden Administration has allowed nearly 2 million got aways in our country under the guise of \u2018helping migrants\u2019 through wide open border policies and willful breaking of federal immigration laws,\u201d the Crossfit enthusiast wrote. \u201cThis Trojan horse has allowed an unknown number of terrorists in our country, on our homeland, and we have no idea where they are or what they are capable of.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I am grieved by hearing the news that 3 American soldiers were killed and 25 more were injured in a drone attack on our troops in Jordan. This is, without a doubt, a problem worth discussing, and if your uncle\u2019s Facebook page has proven anything, it\u2019s that social media is the place to do it. Could Greene have waited until after she was done relaying her sympathies to the families of the soldiers lost in a real overseas attack before lamenting the potential loss of life in a rhetorical stateside one? That\u2019s not for us to say. We\u2019re not on Greene\u2019s level. We didn\u2019t even know <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2022\/feb\/09\/marjorie-taylor-greene-gazpacho-police\">to be afraid of cold soup until she told us to<\/a>, and we all thought <a href=\"https:\/\/wegotthiscovered.com\/news\/this-woman-is-a-moron-marjorie-taylor-greene-has-no-idea-who-runs-north-korea\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kim Jung Un was still in power<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Inertia being what it is, Greene continued making unfortunate social media decisions on January 29, when she declared that diversity, equity, and inclusion \u201cneeds to be destroyed.\u201d DEI policies, generally used to assure equal treatment for underrepresented groups during hiring and training processes, are \u201ccompletely racist,\u201d according to Greene\u2019s post, \u201cand so are those who practice it.\u201d Meanwhile, the idea that there\u2019s a direct throughline between illegal immigration and indeterminate acts of unspeakable future terrorism remains, I don\u2019t know. Not racist? Like Great Replacement Theory? I don\u2019t know, it\u2019s hard to keep up with the logic sometimes.
