Seg\u00fan confirm\u00f3 Ford en un comunicado, el modelo conocido por ser popular en el segmento femenino, el Ford Edge, dejar\u00e1 de fabricarse en el segundo trimestre del 2024 y no regresar\u00e1 hasta el a\u00f1o modelo 2025.<\/p>\n

\u00abLa producci\u00f3n del Ford Edge contin\u00faa en el segundo trimestre y continuaremos vendi\u00e9ndolo durante todo el a\u00f1o\u00bb, confirm\u00f3 por correo electr\u00f3nico la portavoz de Ford, Jenn Banovetz. \u00abNo habr\u00e1 un Edge en 2025\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Durante a\u00f1os se hab\u00eda rumoreado el fin del Edge, pero el Lincoln Nautilus 2024 redise\u00f1ado sugiri\u00f3 que podr\u00eda haber otra generaci\u00f3n del Edge.<\/p>\n

La producci\u00f3n del Nautilus se traslad\u00f3 del complejo de ensamblaje Oakville de Ford en Ontario, Canad\u00e1, a China, y se esperan entregas este trimestre. Una versi\u00f3n de batalla extendida del Ford Edge, denominada Ford Edge L, se fabrica en China y se vende en otros mercados.<\/p>\n

La planta de Oakville, donde tambi\u00e9n se produjo el Edge relacionado, se traslad\u00f3 para construir cinco veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos a\u00fan sin nombre. El SUV mediano Ford Bronco se vendi\u00f3 un poco menos que el Edge, mientras que el Bronco Sport m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o basado en el Ford Escape se vendi\u00f3 m\u00e1s con 127,476 unidades. Esos n\u00fameros siguen al Escape y al Explorer en la robusta familia de SUV crossover de Ford.<\/p>\n
