Year-to-date figures are down -7.1% to 95,497. BEV sales are down -20.9% to 9,000 and 87% share and down -0.3% YTD to 79,675 and 83.4%. PHEVs implode -63.1% to 617 and sink -35.6% year-to-date to 6,642 while hybrids crater -45.6% to 442 and edge up 0.1% YTD to 5,684. Rechargeable vehicles (BEV+HEV) hold 93% of the Norwegian market vs. 89.1% a year ago. Meanwhile petrol sales account for a minuscule 0.8% share vs. 2.2% in September 2022 and diesel is down to 1.7% vs. 3.1%.<\/p>\n<p>In the brands ranking, Tesla (-31.8%) falls slightly faster than the market but still commands a whopping 24.2% share. It is followed like last month by Toyota (-15.1%) while Skoda (-5.4%) resists very well in context. Ford (+80.1%) and Nissan (+73.6%) go completely against the depleted market with fantastic year-on-year lifts. All remaining Top 10 members lose share year-on-year, with Mercedes (-54.3%), Volvo (-46.2%) and Hyundai (-38.5%) the hardest hit. Below, MG (+15.6%), Opel (+160.6%), Fisker (#15) and Lexus (+27.8%) make themselves noticed. Chinese luxury brand HiPhi sells its first unit.<\/p>\n<p>Over in the models lane, the Tesla Model Y (-19.2%) posts another extravagant score at 23.9% share vs. 20.5% year-to-date. The Skoda Enyaq (+9.6%) and most strikingly the Ford Mustang Mach-E (+185%) defy the negative market to round out the podium. The new Toyota bZ4X is up one spot on August to #3 while the Volvo XC40 (+17.1%) also impresses with a year-on-year gain. The Nissan Ariya (+452.1%) remains in the Top 10 at #7 and is the only additional gainer in the Top 10 with the Nissan Leaf (-7.2%) and Hyundai Kona (-4.6%) also beating the market. The event of the month is the 11th place of the Fisker Ocean, up 59 spots on last month and by far its best score in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Previous month: <a
