This one comes courtesy of American actor\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/antifa-michael-rapaport-portland-protest\/\">stand-up comic<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/michael-rapaport-trump-charlottesville-lie\/\">Michael Rapaport<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Beautiful Girls&#8221; alum has been one of the industry&#8217;s most vocal critics of Hamas&#8217; barbarism on Oct. 7. Rapaport uses his social media platforms to rage against the horrific attacks and plead for the safe and swift return of the remaining Israeli hostages.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a subject rarely brought up on late-night TV, &#8220;Saturday Night Live&#8221; or celebrity social media accounts.<\/p>\n<p>The vast majority of Rapaport&#8217;s peers are either whisper silent on the matter or<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/alyssa-milano-ceasefire-israeli-hostages\/\"> demand a ceasefire<\/a>, which many predict will help Hamas rebuild to attack another day.<\/p>\n<p>Rapaport has had enough, but he had to find a show outside the U.S. to get his message across. He found it courtesy of the Israeli satire show &#8220;Eretz Nehederet&#8221; (translation: What a Wonderful Country).<\/p>\n<p>Haaretz called the comedy program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haaretz.com\/life\/television\/2023-12-29\/ty-article-magazine\/.premium\/veteran-israeli-comedy-show-goes-after-u-s-progressives-the-bbc-and-hamas-sympathizers\/0000018c-b543-d014-a3cd-bf5f7dda0000\"  rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Israel&#8217;s answer to &#8216;Saturday Night Live.&#8217;&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some of the sketches are aimed at English-speaking audiences, like this savage takedown of pro-Hamas college students.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/michael-rapaport-oscars-israeli-hostages\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-youtube-lyte\/lyteCache.php?origThumbUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2FrbfccVBo9tE%2Fhqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"YouTube Video\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The show&#8217;s most recent clip cast Rapaport as Jimmy Kimmel&#8217;s Oscar host replacement.<\/p>\n<p>His monologue is an unflinching blend of comedy and political savagery. The video expertly splices existing Oscars footage with a digitally imposed Rapaport on the main stage.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s uncanny.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/michael-rapaport-oscars-israeli-hostages\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-youtube-lyte\/lyteCache.php?origThumbUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2Fu5esBxX5YoI%2Fhqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"YouTube Video\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Good evening to the millions of viewers at home and the 134 Israeli hostages who are watching us from the Hamas tunnels in Gaza.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Big laugh from the faux crowd.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[The hostages] have a lot in common with the beautiful audience we have here tonight&#8230; neither of you have eaten in almost four months. Next year the hostage diet will be bigger than Ozempic,&#8221; Rapaport said.<\/p>\n<p>He mixes in some standard Oscar gags with more digs about Hollywood&#8217;s silence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;God forbid Hamas would have raped the Gender Pay Gap. Oh, man. He also zinged Hollywood&#8217;s MeToo contingent, similarly silent about Hamas&#8217; shocking sexual assaults on women.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hamas makes Harvey Weinstein look like Peter Pan,&#8221; he cracked.<\/p>\n<p>Any chance Rapaport will be part of the March 10 Oscar ceremony just went up in smoke.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve seen multiple awards shows since the Oct. 7 atrocities.
