Back in September, the Japanese automaker Isuzu Motors India launched its newest model, the D-Max S-Cab Z trim, in India. The company launched this all-new luxury pickup truck in India with a starting price tag of Rs 15 lakh. This made the D-Max S-Cab Z pickup truck the most affordable luxury truck in India. Recently, a video showing this all-new truck in detail has been shared online.
The video of the Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z in-depth walkaround comes courtesy of Sirax on YouTube. The video of the pickup truck was uploaded to their channel. It starts off with the presenter mentioning that he has been invited to the launch of the model in Guwahati. After this, he goes inside the showroom, and the sales representative of Isuzu thanks him for visiting and starts showing him the all-new model.

The sales representative starts off the walkaround of the vehicle by mentioning that the company took feedback from customers. She added that whatever features the customers requested were passed on to the company, following which this new D-Max S-Cab Z trim was launched. She then shows the newly updated front grille, which uses a ton of chrome. Also, the ORVMs of the truck have also been given chrome caps, and door handles also get chrome. The truck comes equipped with LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and front fog lamps.

Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z interior
Next up, the sales representative opens the doors of the new D-Max S-Cab Z and asks the presenter to check out the interior. The presenter then takes a peek inside the cabin and mentions that it now looks a little more premium. It gets cupholders on the sides and gets an armrest with storage space underneath. It also gets piano-black finished trim elements, a leather-finished steering wheel with controls. Additionally, it also comes equipped with dual-tone black and dark grey premium upholstery and height-adjustable headrests.
Apart from these, the new Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z trim also comes with a decently sized 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system in addition to 6 speakers and multiple USB ports. Isuzu also offers the S-Cab Z with a rear-parking camera, map lamp, sunglass holder, and vanity mirror on the co-driver’s side. Additionally, the truck in the video was also given 7D mats to enhance its appearance.
Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z engine
After the exterior and interior, the presenter of the video shows the engine of this pickup truck. The Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z comes equipped with a 2.5-litre 4JA1 VSS turbo intercooled engine. This engine, at its peak, is able to generate a maximum power of 159 hp at 3,600 rpm. It is also capable of generating a max torque of 176 Nm at 1,500-2,400 rpm. The engine comes mated with a six-speed manual transmission and is available in a 2WD configuration.
