BYD ranks in the Ukrainian Top 10 for the 2nd month running.
The Ukrainian new car market steps up 40% year-on-year in August to 8,107 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 24.6% to 47,563. Toyota (+11.6%) remains the most popular brand in the country with 15.4% share, distancing Renault (+47.3%) and BMW (+46.2%) both beating the market. Skoda (+36.5%) follows with Volkswagen (-20.9%) in great difficulty. Nissan (+118.1%) surges at #6 as do Mazda (+88.2%) at #8 and Kia (+119.4%) at #10. But the best performance this month is once again delivered by BYD (+442.9% repeating at an all-time high #9 and breaking its volume and share records as well. Honda (+322.6%) and Volvo (+119%) stand out below.
