Cranked Up Films has revealed an official trailer for an indie horror film titled The Exorcism of Saint Patrick, the first in a new trilogy from filmmaker Quinn Armstrong. It's set for release in August this summer. A pastor takes a gay teen to a cabin for conversion therapy. When he goes way too far, bullying the kid into suicide, the ghost of his victim returns to plague the pastor and avenge the deaths of so many other ghosts like him. It's part of a new horror trilogy called Fresh Hell - "shooting films on a small budget back-to-back, each film with its own unique aesthetic and cleverly interconnected elements between them. "Spread's been around longer than you've been alive." Tubi has revealed an official trailer for Spread, a comedy that will be sent direct-to-streaming this summer. Not to be confused with the Ashton Kutcher indie comedy also called Spread from 2009 - these two films are entirely different. In this new Spread movie, an aspiring journalist who begrudgingly takes a job at an iconic adult magazine finds herself in an epic fight to save the company from bankruptcy. It's the world's largest adult magazine, and it might just change her life. Of course it will. This stars Elizabeth Gillies as Ruby, Harvey Keitel as Frank, Keith Walker, Diora Baird, David Allan Pearson, Teri Polo, Bryan Craig, Blake Harrison, and Diedrich Bader. Epic Pictures Group has revealed the official US trailer for a Dutch / German production called The Forgotten Battle, a WWII action thriller movie about a big battle in The Netherlands. It's now set for a VOD release in the US starting in August this summer - not hitting theaters at all. It's 1944, during the Second World War. The Allies have captured the port of Antwerp but the Germans still control the Scheldt estuary. A British glider pilot, a Dutch boy fighting on the German side and a Dutch female resistance member all end up involved in the Battle of the Schelde. Their choices differ, but their goal is the same: freedom. Their choices will shape destinies, impacting not only their freedom but also that of others. Most of us won't even see this movie or care about it at all. Crescent City is the story of a twisted series of murders that sends three detectives on a whirlwind investigation. Described as a "mesmerizing crime thriller about what it costs to catch a killer." A small town in the south is ravaged by a serial killer, with everyone being a suspect including the police. "Real power can never be given, it has to be taken." Saban Films has revealed an official trailer for a British action thriller titled Duchess, the latest movie from genre filmmaker Neil Marshall. For the last few years he has been making movies with his young wife Charlotte Kirk, who now helps produce and co-write the movies in addition to starring in them (also: The Reckoning and The Lair before this one). The film follows a tough, working-class, petty criminal named Scarlett who morphs into an anti-heroine to be reckoned with in a murky underworld, in the treacherous world of diamond smuggling. Duchess, a small-time crook, ends up left for dead when a deal goes wrong. Determined to seek retribution, she launches into an unwavering pursuit for vengeance. But of course. Duchess also stars Philip Winchester, Colm Meaney, Stephanie Beacham, Sean Pertwee and Hoji Fortuna. Alas this one looks like an instantly forgettable action flick. Apple TV + Warner Bros have launched the first look teaser trailer for the new F1 movie, directed by Joe Kosinski (of Tron: Legacy, Oblivion, Top Gun: Maverick). This first trailer debuted during the British Grand Prix Formula 1 race today - with the movie set for release in the summer of 2025 next year. This is a massive production (following Kosinski's Top Gun being a massive hit), with reports saying the budget has risen up to $300 million, including filming during actual real F1 races with Brad Pitt and the cast walking on the raceway. F1 is about a famous Formula One driver who, after a horrific crash years ago, comes out of retirement to mentor and team with a younger driver - played by Damson Idris.
