I tend to steer away from very high-priced cleansers and SPF, as cleansers don't stay on the skin long and go down the drain quickly, while I want to make sure I feel comfortable using as much SPF as actually needed vs. the feeling of rationing because the product is so expensive.

Dior Holiday 2023 Color Collection is a new, limited edition launch that included several products, including two new eyeshadow palettes and two blushes, which are the pieces I purchased for review. Everything seemed decent - not particularly out of line with past releases but not the "best of" either. I think those who tend to use Dior's eyeshadows with a dampened brush will get the best results out of it. The blushes blended out well but were a little powdery. Here are swatches!

NARS All That Glitters Light Reflecting Cheek Palette ($60.00 for 0.60 oz.) is a new, limited edition cheek palette that included six shades with varying levels of shimmer but all had some sheen to them. The formula was a gel-powder-based blush, which meant that they felt firm to the touch but picked up well with a moderately-dense brush and had a "melted" effect on skin that gave it a more seamless result. I'm willing to pay more for most products/brands in general - like I'm not that price sensitive, but I definitely prefer more mid-end to low high-end price points so the quality has to be there if I'm paying more.

Charlotte Tilbury Tan-Deep Hollywood Blush & Glow Glide Palette ($29.00 for 0.26 oz.) is a new, limited edition blush and highlighter duo featuring a richer copper blush paired with a warm copper highlighter. Both shades were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing. Tap-Deep (Blush) is a rich, deeper copper with strong, warm orange undertones and a matte finish. Revlon Eyes on You ColorStay Satin Ink Liquid Lipstick ($12.39 for 0.17 oz.) is a rosy brown that turned more pinkish-coral as the product seemed to stain and transition a bit. It had warmer undertones and fine pearl throughout a glossy, cream-like finish. Mostly opaque pigmentation Very fluid, spreadable, creamy Slightly thicker/easier to over-apply Set to a lightly-to-moderately tacky feel, no lifting Transfer-resistant until eating Long-wearing (8 hours of wear but doesn't make it through two meals well)

For makeup, it doesn't typically influence the decision either way. For skincare/hair care, I will go for a larger product that has a better value if it's something I know I'll actually use up!
